Greetings from Barcelona hoping that the good hand of God be with you in all your ways. This are wonderful days watching the Lord work and confirm things for which we pray in the last two years.
First: "A generation of young people that serve the Lord"
You were part of the camp ministry in prayer and financially, this week that investment is reflected in the lives of two young men, Jacob Perez, who for more than 10 years was declared agnostic, also getting involved in the drug world. He became a Christian the last day of camp on the bus on the way back home. Today with great joy we said goodbye in his new challenge of studying the Bible in the Word of Life Institute in Argentina. Our Church praises God and days of revival are being produced by a new generation that loves the Lord. This coming Sunday another young man of our church, Gabriel Penalva, will also depart from the Barcelona airport to go to the same place, this is amazing, wonderful, incredible, God bringing fresh water to our lives and renewing the vision of the churches in the region, seeing where nothing happened, our hope today is enlarged through transformed lives. Hallelujah.
Second: "A generation of leaders who reproduces suitable leaders to serve the Lord."
We really have no words to thank for this week the move of God in each meeting, as well at every opportunity to share our vision with influential pastors and leaders from different denominations and mission boards, including some of them represent all Christians before the Spanish Government. Our main objective was to know and see the reality of our country, establishing a beautiful fellowship to spread the gospel of Christ.
On Friday 22, we had a regional meeting with pastors of Galicia, Madrid, Basque Country and Barcelona, where Ken Lassiter explained how to develop this partnership and be effective. We thank God that we have a representative of Word of Life in each of these places.
On Saturday 23 we had special event "Leadership School" with three sections that brought a tremendous challenges all day. A total of 77 leaders and staff from different parts of the country, representing 13 churches attended. Some local leaders from Escritura Online, Christian Assemblies and IMB had a few minutes to give a reporter and share what God is doing in their ministries. The spirit was amazing, and the people praised the Lord for the way in which each subjects were exposed. This has opened a new way for the ministry of Word of Life, but God is gracious to us bringing new missionaries, John Mark Radziwiluk, God used him through the translation of messages and helping Ken Lassiter throughout the week. Seth Kitchen has also come, which has been very important to see and learn at each meeting different leaders of our country and plan together. Thank God for our new friend Jonathan Carter a who nd cooperation in many aspects of our ministry, was an unforgettable week that only time will tell about its importance.
New challenges ahead:
1. Leadership Training (month of April to June)
2. Family Pic Nic event with the visit of Joe Jordan, where they will be gathered over 3000 people from the three major denominations.
3. Production of printed Materials:
4. Materials for Camps:
5. summer camps Scholarships for 100 young non-Christians.
6. A vehicle for the ministry with 9 seats and for the beginning of the campaigns with Born Again to a Living Hope from this summer 2013.
7. The purchase of our headquarters office for teamwork, leadership training, materials production, hosting and English academy.
8. The arrival of the three families before July.
We trust that the best things are still to come, I have no words to describe the blessing of living in a country where everything is prepared to exploit the power of the Gospel and Christ. The statistics says that 0.05% of 47 million people are Christians, and hundreds of villages have no churches, but God has called us together to break the statistics, join this challenge of God's grace in Spain.
We're in the same boat serving the same master, Jesus Christ.
...be strong in the grace we have in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1
